Beans are a staple of Balkan cuisine, and on every street, someone will insist that their recipe is the “right” one. White and red kidney beans, roasted red pepper, fresh cherry tomatoes, spring onion, red onion and aromatic herbs, all doused in the most gimme-more feta dressing. Sounds about right to us.
Macadamia pesto. Green beans. Persian feta. Crunchy cucumbers. Charred corn. Creamy avocado. Sourdough croutons. Sunflower seeds. Apple cider vinaigrette. Did we mention macadamia pesto? You can even add extra lemon and thyme roast chicken if you want. We told ya it was big.
These flavours are apparently reminiscent of a Balkan summer. Well, whatever the season, we’re into it. Sweet, smoky roasted red and yellow peppers, hearty grilled eggplant and zucchini, all marinated in olive oil, parsley and a dash of vinegar, then topped with feta cheese and walnuts, and served with a creamy labneh and yogurt dip.

Well hello there interesting spice combo! Falafel have levelled up with this hazelnut, coriander, cumin, chili and garlic spice combo. These little orbs of perfection are thrown into a wrap, with pickled turnip and lashings of green tahini sauce.
Ok, picture it. Start with two soft potato rolls. Add perfectly grilled chicken shawarma with rich flavours of garlic, coriander and parsley. Throw on some refreshing coleslaw, made with green apple, Japanese mayo and yuzu puree to give it a little pizazz. Finish it off with dynamite sauce for some heat. Yes, yes, yes.
What’s better than one great recipe? TWO. Duh. A Shish Cevap is a blend of two all-time fave Balkan street food dishes – a cevapi, or Balkan kebab, and a pljeskavica, the Balkan burger. This spiced beef kebab sits in a homemade flatbread that’s smeared with chilli cheese called urnebes, roasted red pepper relish called Ajvar, then topped with parsley and pickled red onions and purple cabbage.
Get ready to curtsey, ‘coz this burger deserves some respect. Pickled ginger and habanero, fresh smashed avo, crisp kale, snow pea sprouts, creamy vegan aioli and a whack of sweet potato fries.(sold separately) Enough said.
Two hefty beef patties. Two thick slices of American cheese. A pile of caramelized onion. Salty, sour pickle. Spicy chipotle secret sauce. Just one bite of this burger and you’ll be weak at the knees.
Two fresh tortillas packed tight with spicy red mojo sauce, soft herbs, Persian feta, roast jalapenos, mango and slaw. Salty, spicy, creamy, sweet – it’s got what you need for some big tastebud satisfaction.
This chonky sandwich is what you wished you got in your lunchbox as a kid. Potato bun, American cheese, crunchy kale slaw, garlic mayo and zingy pickles. The days of the boring ol’ sarmie are long behind us.

Gyudon translates literally to “beef bowl” and figuratively to “omg this is delicious”. A traditional Japanese dish with a base of white rice topped with soy braised tenderloin beef and onion, and wasabi mayo. Omg this really is delicious.
Dan Dan Noodles are a super complex dish and this one knocks it out the park. Spicy chicken Szechuan ragu, a traditional garnish of chopped peanuts, scallion and baby spinach, all sitting atop silky egg noodles. #SendNoods.
They say that good things come to those who wait. Well, the chef waits four hours for these Korean glazed beef ribs to get to sticky, spicy, juicy, tender perfection. Served on white rice with pickled daikon, it’s ready when you are.
Crispy duck leg confit, garlicky duck rice, and duck fat sautéed onions. You’d be a quack not to try it. Ok, sorry, that one wasn’t funny, but it’s true.
It’s unfair that this exists, because good ol’ plain fries don’t stand a chance. Glazed shitake mushrooms, pickled daikon, crispy shallots, spring onion, topped with truffle mayo. They’re gonna knock your socks off, whether you’re wearing any or not.
And this one’s made even more fancy dahling, with a barley miso dressing and a topping of crispy shallots.
We have a little bit of texture-flavour-combo heaven right here. Crispy, earthy Hazelnut falafel, spicy and sharp pickled turnips, finished off with a rich green tahini, packed with mint, coriander and garlic. Need we say more?
We believe that hummus is a food group of its own. And this one is somewhere at the top of the food chain. Is this metaphor working? We don’t know anymore. But the point is that this silky-smooth hummus, topped with spiced, butternut and broad beans, with a sprinkle of almonds and a splash of lemon, is really, really delicious.
This Sambousak (a cousin of the Samosa) is packed with so much flavour, it’s gonna explode out of its golden delicious pastry. Start with rocket, Swiss chard and chicory. Throw in some leeks, preserved lemon and Turkish red chilli flakes. Finish it off with buffalo mozzarella and Greek feta. **swoons**
Crisp, golden pastry laden with porcini mushrooms, haloumi, provolone, fresh mozzarella, and slightly sweet akawi cheese, brought to life with a whoosh of fragrant mint and tangy sumac. These Insta-perfect Arabian Rolls are ready to roll on into your heart.
There’s already something so magically delicious about smoky Moutabbal. Now add cream, mozzarella and gouda, then spice it up with Golden Ras El Honout, and this simple dish is in a league of its own. Thought that was it? No, we need a dipper! How about Turkish red chilli and feta cheese straws? Sold.
And we’re answering. Middle Eastern flavours of Aleppo pepper, cumin and garlic will jump at you outta this more than delicious Saj Bread Roll-Slash-Wrap. Packed with grilled chicken, sumac, and caramelized onion, then topped with yogurt to cool the whole thang down.
If you can’t (or won’t) choose, we definitely don’t judge if you get ‘em all. Moroccan Moutabbal with Chilli Cheese Straws; Wild Green and Mozzarella Sambousak; Four Cheese Arabian Rolls; Hazelnut Falafel with Green Tahini; and Silky Hummus with Broad Beans and Pumpkin. More really is the merrier.
Expect layers of cold-brew soaked chocolate sponge and espresso and mascarpone cream. Coffee and dessert in one? Yes please!
The simple cheesecake just got taken up a notch (or five). Enter stage left: a gingersnap base with a smooth white chocolate topping, finished with key lime curd. Yup, that’ll do.
If you can’t choose between desserts, this is your new BFF. Carrot cake and sticky toffee pudding all rolled into one glorious bundle, served warm with whipped labneh and a salted honey sauce.
